Tension Load Cell S-Type PR 6246

The load cells in the PR 6246 series are specially designed for high-precision weighing of process vessels and for high-precision dosing. Due to the suspended mounting of the vessel, movements caused by mechanical or thermal contraction or expansion of the vessel or the support structure can be compensated. A special design feature is the compact design combined with a high overload range of up to 150% and the highest accuracy class up to C6. In addition to high measuring accuracy and reproducibility, this series is characterised above all by unrivalled reliability, robustness and stability, which enables years of trouble-free operation without any readjustment. The associated installation kit ensures that the force is always optimally applied to the sensor and minimises the influence on the measuring accuracy while maintaining very high reproducibility and perfect linearity. Special strain gauge technology enables a particularly wide operating temperature range. The hermetically sealed encapsulation in conjunction with the special TPE cable allows the sensor to be used even under extreme operating conditions. The entire measuring chain can be pre-adjusted without a reference weight. The "matched output" technology allows a damaged load cell to be replaced in a time-saving manner without the need for recalibration. As an option, load cells from this series are also available as an Ex version for use in intrinsically safe circuits.
